Generating significant pre-release buzz, Threads of Time is poised to rival the critically acclaimed Sea of Stars as a spiritual successor to Square Enix's Chrono series. This retro-styled RPG from Riyo Games promises a captivating nostalgic experience.

"At Riyo Games, we aim to create retro-inspired RPGs that evoke cherished childhood memories," the studio stated in a press release. "Our journey began with a childhood promise—two friends playing RPGs on a CRT TV, vowing to one day create epic adventures together."

Boasting vibrant 2.5D pixel art, Threads of Time features a diverse cast of characters journeying through various historical periods, from dinosaurs to robots. The overarching narrative unfolds across centuries, culminating in a quest to thwart a sinister plot threatening the very fabric of time. Complementing the pixel art are stunning anime-style cutscenes, enhancing the game's intricate storyline.
