In addition to the Official Exhibitor Programs broadcast on the main Tokyo Game Show channels, several developers and publishers will host their own streams. These include Bandai Namco, KOEI TECMO, and Square Enix, among others. These streams will be available on their respective channels and may overlap with the official TGS schedule.
Key highlights from these publishers include KOEI TECMO's upcoming Atelier Yumia, Nihon Falcom's The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki – Farewell, O Zemuria, and Square Enix's Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is making a grand return to the main exhibit at Tokyo Game Show 2024, their first appearance in four years, joining the likes of Capcom and Konami. Last year, Sony's presence was limited to the Demo Play area for indie games. While it's not yet clear what Sony will showcase, many of their 2024 releases were already revealed during a State of Play in May. Furthermore, Sony has announced that no major new franchise releases are planned before April 2025.
