If you’re a fan of Bam Margera, here’s some exciting news: despite not appearing on the initial list of returning skaters for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, it’s now confirmed that he will indeed be part of the final game. The revelation came from skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.
As Bagley explained, the game was already complete when Tony Hawk reached out to Activision requesting Margera’s inclusion. Initially, it was said to be impossible, but Hawk reportedly refused to accept no for an answer. IGN has reached out to Activision for further clarification.
Bam Margera, a former pro skateboarder known for his work on the Jackass series, has faced significant challenges, including issues with alcohol and substances, multiple rehab stints, and even being fired from Jackass Forever. He also found himself at the center of a restraining order issued by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats. Despite this, Margera and Hawk recently shared a skateboarding video together, sparking early speculation about his return to the game.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is set to release on July 11, 2025, across platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is developed by Iron Galaxy and has overcome setbacks following Activision’s merger of Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
