Gacha game enthusiasts are always keen on tracking the financial performance of their favorite titles, and the latest figures for January 2025 have sparked considerable interest. A major highlight of last month was the release of a significant update for Genshin Impact, featuring the pyro archon Mawuika. This update propelled the game to new financial heights, doubling its revenue to an impressive $99.4 million, compared to $45.6 million in December 2024.

In the rankings, Genshin Impact secured the top spot, followed by Pokémon TCG, which earned $64 million, and the increasingly popular "female gacha" game, Love and Deepspace, which brought in $55.2 million. Honkai Star Rail experienced a dip in earnings, reporting $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero saw its revenue cut in half, dropping from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings are based solely on mobile platform revenues. Some of these games, including those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. Additionally, a special calculation method is used for the Chinese market: "Since Google Play does not exist in China, the estimates published for Android data in China are determined using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in the country."
