The indie sensation *Schedule I* continues to dominate Steam’s charts as one of the platform's most-played titles since its viral launch. The game, which simulates the gritty life of a budding drug kingpin in the fictional city of Hyland Point, has already captured a massive audience—surpassing big-name titles like *Monster Hunter Wilds*, *GTA 5*, and *Marvel Rivals* in concurrent player counts shortly after release.
Now, developer Tyler of TVGS has rolled out version 0.3.4 as the first major post-launch update. As noted on the game’s Steam page, this patch is currently available for testing via the beta branch and will transition to the main build within a day or two. Players who wish to get early access can opt into the beta to experience the new content firsthand.
Tyler emphasized that this beta isn’t yet a complete representation of the full update, but it does include some core additions such as new interiors and systems. “This beta doesn't quite contain 100% of the features coming in the full release,” he stated, noting that more decorative items would be added the following day. “I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialed.”
In addition to new content, the patch includes quality-of-life improvements and essential bug fixes to enhance gameplay stability:
Schedule I quickly became the top-selling game on Steam upon release, driven by its explosive popularity across Twitch, YouTube, and social media platforms. In the game, players start as a low-level dealer and rise through the ranks to become a powerful drug lord, managing production, distribution, real estate, employees, and more—all while navigating the dangers of crime, law enforcement, and rival gangs.
Tyler, the Australian solo developer behind the project under the studio name TVGS, described the overwhelming success as both exciting and stressful. “I never expected this kind of response!” he shared on Reddit. “At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched.”
With its latest update now in testing and more content on the way, *Schedule I* shows no signs of slowing down. Whether you're diving into the basics of mixing recipes for maximum profit, experimenting with console commands, or teaming up with friends in multiplayer co-op, there's never been a better time to step into the world of Hyland Point.
