How to Get New Characters in Hyper Light Breaker

To unlock new characters, you'll need Abyss Stones, which are exclusively dropped by defeating Crowns, the game's bosses. Before facing these bosses, you must collect Prisms, which serve as keys to the boss arenas. You can find Prisms on the map by following the golden diamond icon.

After defeating a Crown, return to the Cursed Outpost via the teleporter. Here, you can select the Breaker you wish to unlock and use your Abyss Stones to make them playable. Currently, there are nine characters in the game, but only two are unlockable in the early access version. The method for unlocking the remaining characters is yet to be revealed.

Goro
