Following the exciting March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, players can now access the elusive Fire Seal after conquering the preceding altars. To break the seal, you'll need to gather four specific offerings: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, an Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a detailed guide on how to obtain each item and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.
The Faceted Rock Gem, a rare artifact, awaits adventurers within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure you're running the latest game version, then delve into the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. Our team located the gem on Floor 56, but be prepared for some digging as it's a scarce find. Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth this treasure from marked spots on the ground.
Rockroot, a more common mine forageable, can be found between Floors 50-59. This item is recognizable by its dark, root-like appearance. If you're a regular in the mines, you might already have some in your inventory. Only one is needed to fulfill the Priestess' altar requirements.
Emeralds are the easiest of the Fire Seal offerings to acquire. These gems are commonly found in geodes on Floors 50-59 of the mines. If you haven't stored any, you'll quickly gather what you need. Alternatively, you can obtain Emeralds by smashing large boulders scattered around Mistria or purchase them at Balor's Wagon for a modest 200 tesserae. With the March 2025 update introducing the Stone Refinery, crafting your own Emeralds is also an option.
The Sealing Scroll, the final item needed to unlock the Fire Seal, is linked to a quest initiated after meeting Juniper post-seal discovery. You'll need to enlist Balor's help to acquire the scroll, but it won't come cheap. Here's what you'll need to trade:
Chances are, you might already have some of these materials. If not, the mines are your best bet to gather them. Once collected, deposit them in the bin at Balor's Wagon to secure your Sealing Scroll.
With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your possession, make your way back to Floor 60 of the mines. Offer these items to break the Fire Seal, unveiling a new biome and much more to explore during the Early Access phase of *Fields of Mistria*.
