Among Us Unveils New Roles in Latest Update!

Get ready for more excitement as Among Us introduces its latest update, featuring three new roles and a host of other changes. Innersloth has truly upped the ante with this release, so let's dive in and explore everything new!

What Are The New Roles in Among Us?

Introducing the Tracker and Noisemaker for Crewmates, and the Phantom for Impostors. The Tracker comes equipped with a unique ability to monitor another crewmate's location on the map for a limited time. This tool can be crucial in catching impostors in their lies about their whereabouts, helping to keep your crew safe or at least giving you a fighting chance.

The Noisemaker is another exciting addition for Crewmates. If a Noisemaker is eliminated by an impostor, they emit a loud alert, similar to a siren, and a visual signal appears on the screen indicating where the elimination took place. This feature provides the remaining crew with a prime opportunity to converge on the scene and possibly catch the impostor red-handed.

Lastly, meet the Phantom, a new Impostor role. The Phantom can activate invisibility to sneak away after making a kill, leaving crewmates puzzled and bewildered. Use this limited invisibility time wisely to create maximum confusion!

In addition to these new roles, Among Us has revamped its lobby interface. Now, you can easily view the room code, map details, number of crewmates, and other game settings at a glance. Furthermore, if you've ever been stuck in a ladder animation during a Mushroom Mixup in The Fungle, that issue is now resolved.

Shapeshifters will no longer be caught mid-transformation when meetings are called, and their timers are now functioning correctly.
