Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 faces yet another delay, now slated for a new release window in October 2025. Dive into the latest updates and the game's history of delays to understand what's driving these shifts.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is experiencing another delay, with a revised release target set for October 2025. The official announcement came from Bloodlines 2’s Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance to ensure we deliver the best possible experience upon release."
Paradox has been actively sharing development progress through Dev Diaries, which cover characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to focus on enhancing the game's quality, all Dev Diaries have been temporarily paused.
Initially unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was originally scheduled for a March 2020 release under the development of Hardsuit Labs. However, the release was first postponed to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further delayed to 2021.
During this period, the project saw several lead developers depart. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, with The Chinese Room taking over. Since then, the game's release has been rescheduled multiple times—from late 2024, to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is now set to launch in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. To keep up with the latest developments, be sure to check out our dedicated article below!
