Best Victoria Hand Decks in Marvel Snap

Despite the ongoing popularity of Pokémon TCG Pocket, the Marvel Snap developers continue to release new cards at a rapid pace. This month's additions include Iron Patriot, the season pass card, and its synergistic partner, Victoria Hand. Let's dive into the best Victoria Hand decks currently available in Marvel Snap.

How Victoria Hand Works in Marvel Snap

Victoria Hand is a 2-cost, 3-power card with the ability: “Ongoing: Your cards created in your hand have +2 Power.”

This ability is straightforward: she functions similarly to Cerebro, but only for cards generated in your hand, not your deck. This means she won't boost cards like Arishem (even before its nerfs). Cards that synergize well with her include Maria Hill, Sentinel, Agent Coulson, and Iron Patriot.

In the initial weeks after her release, be mindful of Rogues and Enchantresses attempting to steal or negate her effect. As a 2-cost Ongoing card, strategically deploying her later in the match is often advantageous.

Victoria Hand pairs exceptionally well with the season pass card, Iron Patriot, which generates a 4, 5, or 6-cost card with a conditional -4 cost reduction. It's rare to see one without the other. This combination may revitalize older Devil Dinosaur decks. Here's one example:

Maria Hill, Quinjet, Hydra Bob, Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Iron Patriot, Sentinel, Victoria Hand, Mystique, Agent Coulson, Shang-Chi, Wiccan, Devil Dinosaur [Click here to copy this list from Untapped.]

Aside from Iron Patriot and Victoria Hand, this deck features Series 5 cards: Hydra Bob, Hawkeye & Kate Bishop, and Wiccan. Hydra Bob can be substituted with a decent 1-cost alternative like Nebula; however, Kate Bishop and Wiccan are crucial for this deck's strategy.

As detailed in our Iron Patriot guide, Victoria Hand synergizes powerfully with Sentinel. With a single Victoria Hand in play, generated Sentinels become 2-cost, 5-power cards. Adding Mystique doubles the effect, creating 7-power cards. Combine this with a Quinjet, and you're consistently dropping 1-cost, 7-power Sentinels each turn.

Wiccan further enhances this strategy, potentially providing 8 power on the final turn to play Devil Dinosaur, Victoria Hand, and a Sentinel. Without Wiccan, focusing on winning another lane with Devil Dinosaur (and potentially copying it with Mystique) provides a viable backup plan.

Another deck utilizes Victoria Hand within a Discard-style archetype, focusing on buffing Swarm and leveraging Helicarrier. However, these decks are highly refined, and Victoria Hand's inclusion might not be optimal. Instead, consider incorporating her into an Arishem deck, even though she doesn't affect cards added directly to the deck:

Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Sentinel, Valentina, Agent Coulson, Doom 2099, Galactus, Daughter of Galactus, Nick Fury, Legion, Doctor Doom, Alioth, Mockingbird, Arishem [Click here to copy this list from Untapped.]

This Arishem deck, even after its nerf (delayed energy gain until turn 3), remains a strong meta contender. This list leverages random card generation to keep opponents guessing. While Victoria Hand doesn't boost cards added directly to the deck, the generated cards provide a significant power boost.

If you enjoy hand-generation strategies, Victoria Hand is a valuable addition, especially when paired with Iron Patriot. Her powerful effect will likely see continued use in meta decks. However, she isn't a collection-defining card. Skipping her won't significantly hinder your progress.

That said, upcoming cards this month are comparatively weaker, making Victoria Hand a potentially worthwhile investment of resources.
