Free Fire's Winterlands festival is back with a dazzling Aurora theme this year, introducing a slew of exciting new features. Dive into the Frosty Tracks, meet the tactical genius Koda, and immerse yourself in a magical aurora that transforms the game into a true winter wonderland.
Koda, the newest addition to the Free Fire roster, hails from a high-tech arctic environment. His signature ability, Aurora Vision, allows him to swiftly maneuver across the battlefield and detect enemies hiding behind obstacles. Moreover, while parachuting, Koda can get a tactical advantage by previewing enemy locations within his line of sight.
Koda's intriguing backstory adds depth to his character. As a young boy, he discovered a mystical fox mask under the enchanting glow of an aurora and forged a bond with snow foxes. This connection enhances his focus and speed, which he now brings to the battlefield.
The aurora theme is central to this year's Winterlands in Free Fire. The Bermuda map is now adorned with an aurora-filled sky and introduces the Aurora Forecast system. This innovative weather predictor not only adds a visual flair but also dynamically changes gameplay. Depending on the forecast, players can gain powerful buffs that could be game-changers in combat scenarios.
The Frosty Tracks are another exciting addition, offering icy, rideable paths across the map in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. Players can skate through iconic locations like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory in Bermuda, engaging in thrilling combat by firing shots and tossing grenades while on the move.
Encountering Special Coin Machines along these tracks rewards players with 100 FF Coins. In Clash Squad mode, these frosty highways can be found at places like Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar. For a visual treat, check out the Winterlands: Aurora trailer right here!
In Battle Royale, keep an eye out for aurora-affected Coin Machines. In Clash Squad, you'll find Supply Gadgets illuminated by the magical aurora. Interacting with these can help complete event quests and earn buffs for your entire squad.
Free Fire has also added a delightful feature for playing with friends during Winterlands: Aurora. When you team up, your friends appear as adorable snowballs on the event interface, sliding alongside you. Completing exclusive friend tasks unlocks rewards such as an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
