The Witcher 3 adaptation in the vein of fantasy movies from the 1980s

Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their sights are now set on The Witcher series. Sora AI, a YouTube channel creator, recently unveiled a concept trailer for a potential Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation.

The video cleverly emulates the aesthetic of 1980s films, leveraging the power of neural networks to bring this vision to life. The trailer features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, and Priscilla, among others. While there are subtle stylistic differences, the characters remain easily identifiable.

Interestingly, the developers of The Witcher 3 recently hinted at plans to incorporate Triss's wedding into the game. Originally conceived as the "Ashen Marriage" mission in Novigrad, the storyline depicts Triss developing feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt assists in the wedding preparations, tasks ranging from clearing canal monsters to procuring alcohol and selecting a wedding gift.

The chosen gift significantly impacts Triss's reaction. Less thoughtful presents receive a lukewarm reception, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a much stronger emotional response.
