Kuro Games has launched the highly anticipated 1.4 update for their popular open-world RPG, Wuthering Waves. Titled "When the Night Knocks," this update delivers an atmospheric blend of mystery and illusion. Players can look forward to two new Resonators, fresh weapons, expanded storyline content, and exciting in-game events.
Version 1.4 introduces the Somnium Labyrinth—a surreal and unsettling dreamscape filled with cryptic visions. This rogue-like experience challenges players with consequential choices, where failure could let darkness prevail.
The update introduces Camellya, a mysterious five-star Resonator with a playful yet enigmatic personality, available exclusively during Phase I of the "End of the Lost Trailer" event. Meanwhile, Lumi, a charming but fierce four-star Resonator, will remain a permanent fixture in the Afterglow Coral Store until the next update.
Players can acquire the five-star Red Spring in Phase I, followed by the Stringmaster and Verity’s Handle in Phase II. A new weapon transmogrification system (Weapon Projection) allows cosmetic customization for select weapons, including the Somnoire Anchor and Formless Series.
"Forking Path Among the Stars" offers an immersive companion story featuring Camellya as she explores the Black Shores greenhouse. Additionally, the Phantom: Inferno Rider Echo debuts in this update.
Somnium Labyrinth revitalizes the rogue-like Illusive Realms mode, while new Echoes and weapon customization enhance gameplay depth. Whether pursuing story-driven quests, engaging in combat, or simply exploring the evolving world, Wuthering Waves 1.4 delivers diverse content.
