DownloadOBD diagnostic scanner to read and clear trouble codes. Requires an ELM327 adapter for connection.
Obd Arny is the simplest car scanner that operates on the OBD2 standard.
Important Notes:
- You need an ELM327 Bluetooth or Wi-Fi adapter to connect to your car.
- Your vehicle must be OBD2 compatible.
- ELM adapter version 2.1 can often be problematic, so opt for version 1.5 if possible.
Getting Started
- Download the Obd Arny app;
- Turn on Bluetooth;
- Discover your ELM adapter (for Bluetooth versions only);
- Select your adapter in the app settings;
- Begin scanning your vehicle. That's all!
Diagnostic Features
You can perform scans and diagnostics using the Obd Arny app and an ELM327 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi adapter:
- Scan and read basic vehicle information per the OBD2 standard;
- Perform vehicle diagnostics: read and clear trouble codes (DTCs) from the Engine Control Unit (ECU);
- Read live data (speed, RPM, coolant temperature, engine load, fuel trim, fuel/air pressure, etc.).
To explore the Obd Arny app without a vehicle, you can use the demo mode (no ELM327 OBD2 adapter required).
Full Version
The free version has limited functionality. Purchase the full version of Obd Arny to unlock these premium features:
- Ad-free experience;
- View all diagnostic trouble codes (hidden as asterisks in the free version);
- Select up to 10 live data parameters instead of 3;
- Access to freeze frame data.
Please note: The number of supported live data parameters is not determined by the app version, but by your specific vehicle.
