DownloadSquares: Conquer the Daily Word Puzzle Challenge!
Squares is a daily word puzzle game where you strategically connect letters on a grid to form words and score points. The goal? Find all the words and achieve the highest score possible!
How to Play:
Connect letters in any direction – up, down, left, right, or diagonally – to create words. Words must be at least four letters long, and each tile can only be used once per word. Hyphenated words, proper nouns, offensive language, and uncommon terms are not included in the main word list.
Scoring and Bonus Words:
Each letter in a word earns you one point (a five-letter word scores five points). Beyond the main words, discover bonus words – obscure, archaic, or slang terms. These don't add to your score but appear on a separate bonus list. You can hunt for these even after completing the main puzzle! Each puzzle also features a "Word of the Day," a longer, special bonus word that rewards you with two extra hints upon discovery.
Game Features:
- Daily Challenge: A new Squares puzzle is available every day at midnight.
- Grid Rotation: Rotate the grid left or right to gain a fresh perspective and uncover hidden words.
- Hints: After finding 40% of the words, a hint system activates, showing how many words begin with each letter (a number next to the letter). Orange letters are no longer used in the main words but might appear in bonus words. Each puzzle starts with 3-5 hints (lightbulb icons) revealing a random word's first letter and search direction. Sharing the game link earns you an extra hint!
