Among Us 3D: A First-Person Perspective on Deception

Innersloth, the creators of the wildly popular Among Us, are launching a new dimension of deception with Among Us 3D. Building on the success of their VR adaptation, this latest iteration brings the classic social deduction gameplay into a fully immersive first-person experience, playable on traditional PC setups without the need for a VR headset.

The core mechanics remain intact, but reimagined for a standard keyboard and mouse interface. A recently released teaser trailer hints at the enhanced visual experience, showcasing how familiar tasks, emergency meetings, and sabotage will feel from a first-person perspective. Gamers can get a sneak peek during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival, where a free demo will be available.

While a firm release date is yet to be announced, Among Us 3D will initially launch on PC. The game will feature an updated user interface designed for improved accessibility and will include cross-play functionality, allowing players to connect with those on the Among Us VR platform. However, the original 2D Among Us will remain a separate experience.

To further enhance customization, Innersloth plans to introduce a new in-game currency, Stardust, within the next few months. This will provide players with expanded options to personalize their avatars and contribute to the game's ongoing development.
