Larian Studios, following the phenomenal success of Baldur's Gate 3, is now fully dedicated to its next project. While limited post-launch support for BG3 continues, including the upcoming Patch 8 with new features, the studio's primary focus has shifted.

Prior to BG3's late 2023 release, Larian had already established itself as a CRPG powerhouse with the Divinity: Original Sin series. This success paved the way for their work on Baldur's Gate 3, a game that garnered numerous Game of the Year awards and significantly broadened the CRPG audience. This achievement has elevated Larian's profile, generating considerable anticipation for their next endeavor.

In a recent statement, Larian confirmed their complete attention is on their next title, implementing a temporary media blackout to maintain focus. While Patch 8 will introduce some new features to BG3, further significant support is unlikely.
