Blasphemous, the critically acclaimed 2D platformer steeped in religious and Spanish folklore, is now available on Android! This port includes all DLC, gamepad support, and a completely redesigned user interface. An iOS release is planned for late February 2025.

The game's unsettling gothic atmosphere, intense side-scrolling combat, and unforgiving difficulty are hallmarks of its unique design. Players take on the role of The Penitent One, a warrior battling to liberate the cursed island of Cvstodia from the blight known as The Miracle. Prepare for challenging encounters with grotesque creatures born from a twisted blend of religious imagery and Spanish mythology.

Blasphemous' mobile version features a revamped UI and intuitive touch controls, while Bluetooth gamepad compatibility ensures a comfortable experience for those who prefer traditional controllers. All DLC is included in the Android release.

While iOS users must patiently await the February 2025 launch, the overwhelmingly positive reception from players and critics alike suggests the wait will be worthwhile.

Mobile platformers can be a mixed bag, with touchscreen controls sometimes proving less than ideal for precise movements. However, if you're up for the challenge, Blasphemous is definitely worth considering. Check out our curated list of the top 25 Android and iOS platformers for more options!
