Botany Manor Announces New PS5 Release Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th

Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been delayed, but now have a confirmed launch date: January 28th, 2025. This applies to both PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game's relaxing gameplay, focusing on cultivating magical plants in the English countryside, earned widespread praise, boasting an impressive 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic.

The delay, announced shortly before the original December release, was attributed to Whitethorn Games' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience. While a new release date was promised for 2025, the official January 28th announcement only recently surfaced on January 9th. Despite the confirmed date, a PS Store page remains absent, meaning pre-orders are not yet available.

The PlayStation port is expected to maintain the $24.99 price point of other versions, offering a one-time purchase with no microtransactions. Similar to the Switch and Xbox releases, the digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, will likely not be included.

Botany Manor is poised to enrich the PlayStation's growing library of puzzle games, adding its unique charm and engaging gameplay to the platform. Once released on the PlayStation Store, Botany Manor will be available on all initially announced platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce its next project. January 28th will also see the PlayStation releases of Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
