Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Streamlines Camo Progression with New Tracking Feature

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool simplifies the often-grueling camo unlock process. This guide explains how it works.

Simplified Camo and Calling Card Progress Tracking

The update notes describe Camo Challenge Tracking as a system allowing players to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges simultaneously. A key benefit is its "Near Completion" notification system, highlighting challenges nearing completion, even those not actively tracked.

This feature eliminates the need to constantly check the main menu for progress. Players can now monitor their progress in real-time during matches.

How to Track Challenges in Black Ops 6

Camo Challenge Tracking in Black Ops 6To add a Camo or Calling Card challenge to the tracker, navigate to the desired challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). Tracked progress is viewable during matches, eliminating post-match checks.

The game also automatically highlights near-completion challenges, even if not manually tracked, displaying them in the Daily Challenges section of the lobby.

Earning Mastery Camos Made Easier

Season 2 also simplifies mastery camo acquisition. Previously, unlocking special camos required nine preceding military camos. This requirement has been reduced to five, although two special camos are still needed for mastery camos.

This change addresses player feedback regarding the overwhelming number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch's responsiveness to player concerns improves the overall Black Ops 6 experience.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
