Breath of Fire IV, a classic role-playing game, makes its long-awaited return to PC after 25 years.

Originally released for PlayStation in Japan and North America in 2000, Capcom's critically acclaimed RPG arrived in Europe the following year. A PC port was subsequently launched in Europe and Japan in 2003.

The story follows Ryu (distinct from other Capcom characters with the same name), a man with the ability to transform into a dragon. He joins forces with fellow warriors to stop a tyrannical emperor from unleashing global devastation.

As part of its ongoing preservation efforts, GOG has completely updated Breath of Fire IV for modern computers and released it DRM-free on their platform.
