Cato: Buttered Cat Is An Upcoming Platformer Puzzle About A Cat With A Piece Of Toast!

An adorable new puzzle platformer, Cato: Buttered Cat, is launching on Android! The game's whimsical name—a portmanteau of "cat" and "toast"—perfectly encapsulates its unique gameplay. Curious about buttered toast strapped to a cat's back? The result? Endless, gravity-defying spins!

Originally a 2022 BOOOM Gamejam entry by Team Woll, Cato: Buttered Cat's positive reception led to its full development. Already available on Steam for PC, the Android version is coming soon. Pre-register now on the official TapTap page.

Gameplay:

Control both a cat and a piece of buttered toast to solve puzzles, battle enemies, and explore five fantastical worlds. With 200 levels (including side quests) and 30 outfits, there's plenty to discover. The cat's agility and the toast's projectile capabilities create engaging interactions, allowing you to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Hidden rooms and Easter eggs add extra replay value.
