No More Collecting Stage Girls! Revue Starlight Re LIVE Announces Its EOS

Revue Starlight Re LIVE is officially shutting down. The game's servers will close on September 30th, 2024, at 07:00 UTC, ending its nearly six-year run on Android.

Why the Shutdown?

While initially a promising extension of the Revue Starlight anime, Revue Starlight Re LIVE ultimately struggled. Over its lifespan, the game faced criticism for repetitive events, reused assets, and excessively expensive battle passes. Unpopular narrative choices, such as a sudden shift in storyline, further contributed to its decline. The closure affects the game globally, including Japan.

Positive Aspects

Despite its shortcomings, the game boasted a strong soundtrack featuring music from the anime, along with visually appealing 3D graphics and Live2D animations.

A Final Farewell?

Although the game's lifespan is nearing its end, players still have a few weeks to enjoy it. August and September will see several new campaigns, including a "Thank You For Everything" campaign offering ten free pulls daily, and a two-month birthday celebration featuring new gacha events. Download the game from the Google Play Store to experience its final moments.
