Dead by Daylight Mobile: End of Service Announced by NetEase

NetEase has announced the end of service (EOS) for their mobile horror action game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game is officially closing its doors. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operation.

For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a 4v1 mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's popular Dead by Daylight. The original PC version debuted in June 2016, with the mobile port arriving in April 2020.

Dead by Daylight Mobile pits Killers against Survivors in a thrilling game of cat and mouse. Players can choose to stalk and sacrifice Survivors as a Killer, or strive for survival against the Killer.

Dead by Daylight Mobile's End Date:

The game's servers will officially shut down on March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.

NetEase will provide details regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional regulations.

Existing players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those who make the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted for in-app purchases or accumulated XP in the mobile game.

Download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store before January 16th, 2025, to experience the game before its servers close. For another gaming recommendation, check out our article on Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
