Dead Island 2 Unleashes Game Plus, Fresh Zombies

Dead Island 2's Patch 6 introduces thrilling new gameplay options, including a challenging New Game Plus (NG+) mode and a terrifying new horde mode, "Neighborhood Watch." This update significantly enhances the zombie-slaying experience.

New Game Plus and Enhanced Zombie Challenges

NG+ allows players to replay the entire game at increased difficulty, retaining their leveled-up character, inventory, and gaining three extra skill slots. A boosted level cap, new weapons and skins, and formidable new enemies—the Revenants—await. These Revenants are described as more powerful Apex zombies with enhanced abilities, designed to provide a significant challenge. Weapon power is also increased in NG+, with a greater variety of fixed-rarity weapons to discover.

Neighborhood Watch: A Unique Horde Mode

The new Neighborhood Watch horde mode blends tower defense and horde survival. Players defend their base over five in-game days, fending off relentless zombie hordes while completing objectives to earn valuable gear.

Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition and Bonus Content

The Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition is now available, bundling the base game, story expansions ("Haus" and "SoLA"), and the exclusive Kingdom Come: Deliverance II weapon pack. This pack includes the Memories of Banoi Pack, Golden Weapons Pack, Pulp Weapons Pack, Red’s Demise Pack, and all six Slayer’s Premium Skin Packs. The update promises a significantly more challenging and rewarding Dead Island 2 experience.
