The Pharaoh Detector unlocks access to Cursed Treasures. Keep in mind, their discovery isn't guaranteed; there's only a 5% chance with each dig. Persistence pays off though!
Cursed Treasures fetch significantly higher prices than regular finds. A regular chest might be worth 500 Sheckles, but a Cursed Chest can command 12,500 Sheckles. Rainbow Spots are your best bet for the most valuable Cursed Treasures.
The Pharaoh Detector and Shovel command a hefty price tag: 2,000,000 Sheckles for the Detector and 575,000 Sheckles for the Shovel. This requires dedicated Sheckle farming.
Focus your efforts on Rainbow, Red, and Yellow spots, particularly around the Pyramids and the Plains behind them. These areas yield higher-value treasures than other locations.
While there's no foolproof method for locating these spots, prioritize Rainbow spots—finding one often increases your chances of discovering others nearby. Always double-check the immediate vicinity after a successful dig.
Before selling your treasures, consider smelting them at the Blacksmith. Smelting upgrades treasures to Polished, Shiny, or Gold variants, significantly boosting their resale value.
The Blacksmith Building in Dusthaven houses the NPC smelter. Select the treasures you wish to smelt (Sphynx, Fighting Jett, Pharaoh's Pillar, or Submarine offer the highest returns).
Keep in mind, smelting takes 4-12 hours, depending on the treasure's rarity, and continues even while you're offline.
