This guide focuses on the five Golden Idols hidden within Act 3, which, despite being labeled "Quest Items," don't function like typical quest items. Collecting them doesn't update your quest log, and unlike most quest items, they aren't traded for quest progression. Instead, these idols are valuable commodities, each fetching a significant gold sum.

Locating the Golden Idols

After completing the initial sections of Act 3 and venturing through the ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment, you'll be transported to the past via a portal, entering the once-magnificent Vaal city of Utzaal (known as The Drowned City in the present). Explore Utzaal and the connected area of Aggorat to discover these hidden treasures. They aren't dropped by enemies; instead, they're found on the ground or pedestals, often tucked away in side rooms.

Cashing In Your Discoveries

Once you've collected a Golden Idol, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and seek out Oswald, located in the northern part of the area. He's the only vendor who will purchase these unique items. The gold payout for each idol is as follows:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Collecting all five Idols will net you a substantial 6000 Gold. Since they occupy inventory space and serve solely as valuable trade goods, it's recommended to sell them immediately after discovery to maximize your bag space.
