Dredge, the eldritch fishing sim, is set to hit mobile later this month with new release date

Dredge, the critically acclaimed eldritch fishing simulator, is finally setting sail for mobile devices! Initially slated for a later release, the game is now officially launching on February 27th.

After several date shifts, fishing enthusiasts can prepare to experience the unsettling depths and sanity-bending isolation of the deep sea. In Dredge, players take on the role of an unnamed fisherman navigating a desolate archipelago. The core gameplay revolves around fishing, selling your catch to the islanders, upgrading your vessel, and uncovering the archipelago's unsettling secrets. But beware the mysteries lurking in the night fog...

As previously reported, the mobile port faced delays, originally pushed back to February 2025. However, the iOS App Store listing has been updated with the new February 27th release date. The Android Google Play listing is expected to follow shortly.

Beyond the core fishing mechanics, Dredge offers a surprisingly deep upgrade system and a generous helping of Lovecraftian horror. While details on potential DLC remain unannounced, the main game already boasts several expansions that significantly broaden the archipelago's exploration.
