Elden Ring Nightreign's First Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th
The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign, a cooperative Soulsborne experience, will hold its initial network test in February 2025. Registration opens January 10th, exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is slated for a 2025 release and focuses on three-player cooperative gameplay within the Lands Between. This initial network test serves as a crucial step in preparing for launch, offering a limited number of players a sneak peek. While the exact number of participants remains undisclosed, interested players should register promptly via the official website once sign-ups commence.
How to Register:
Platform Limitations:
This initial test notably excludes PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players. The game will not feature cross-platform multiplayer, and this limitation extends to the network test. Progress made during the beta is also not expected to carry over to the full game. Further beta tests remain a possibility.
Gameplay Restrictions:
Elden Ring Nightreign will support solo play and three-player parties only; two-player parties are not supported. Whether the network test will include additional gameplay restrictions beyond this remains to be seen.
