Following its April premiere, Amazon's live-action Fallout series begins filming its second season this November. The new season aims to expand upon the first season's cliffhanger ending.
Filming for Fallout season two commences next month, confirmed by returning cast member Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson) in an interview with Screen Rant. The renewal follows the show's successful debut.
Season two will reportedly continue exploring the Vault-Tec narrative and the season one cliffhanger, according to Screen Rant. While Uggams' return is confirmed, the full cast remains unannounced, though Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are expected to reprise their roles. Uggams teased that Betty Pearson will have some surprises in store. "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she stated. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."
A tentative release date of 2026 is projected, factoring in filming and post-production. However, an official date is yet to be announced. For context, Fallout season one filmed around July 2022 and premiered in April 2024.
