FFVII Remake, Rebirth Updates Fix Controller Issues

Patches for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. This 1.080 update resolves controller vibration issues stemming from motor malfunctions. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, as he joins Avalanche to thwart Shinra Electric Power Company's plan to destroy the planet.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story beyond Midgar, receives update 1.080, enhancing realism and tactile feedback. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment expands the narrative with a greater emphasis on exploration.

While Final Fantasy XVI's initial May 2024 sales were disappointing and ultimately fell short of fiscal year projections, specific figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not released sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also underperformed expectations.

However, the company clarified that it doesn't consider the sales of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete failure. Furthermore, they remain confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still achieve its projected goals within the 18-month timeframe.
