Unlocking and Utilizing the FFXIV Free Company Submarine: A Comprehensive Guide

Dive into the underwater world of Final Fantasy XIV with your Free Company's very own submarine! This guide covers everything you need to know about acquiring and utilizing this exciting feature, introduced in the Stormblood expansion.

Acquiring Your FC Submarine

First, ensure your Free Company (FC) is established in FFXIV. Ideally, reach rank 6 to access all necessary vendors for purchasing Ceruleum Tanks. Achieving rank 6 is relatively straightforward; encourage FC members to participate in various in-game activities such as dungeon clearing, leveling, crafting, gathering, and turn-ins.

Once at rank 6, locate the Company Workshop in your FC house. Interact with the schematic board to obtain the submersible recipe. After gathering the required materials, the submersible will be added to your FC crafting log, ready for construction.

Next, acquire Dive Credits, essential for embarking on underwater voyages. These credits are purchased from Resident Caretaker NPCs located in the following housing districts (requires FC rank 6 and costs 10,000 Company Credits each):

Empyreum: X:10, Y:12
Lavender Beds: X:12, Y:8
The Mist: X:11, Y:11
Shirogane: X:10, Y:14
The Goblet: X:11, Y:10

Finally, register your newly crafted submersible via the voyage control panel within the Company Workshop.
