Hollow Knight: Silksong Absent from Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live

Geoff Keighley, producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, confirmed the absence of the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong from the event's showcase. This news brought disappointment to many fans.

Initial speculation arose when Keighley's initial Gamescom ONL lineup included a "+ More" section, suggesting unannounced titles. This fueled hopes for a Silksong update, given the game's extended silence.

However, Keighley later clarified on Twitter (X) that Silksong would not be featured. While confirming the game's continued development by Team Cherry, he effectively quashed fan expectations for a Gamescom reveal.
