Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the Natlan storyline conclusion in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller, Inazuma-focused adventure centered around yokai, with Yae Miko playing a prominent role.
Mizuki's arrival has been anticipated since late 2024, with leaks suggesting her role as Inazuma's first Standard Banner character. Version 5.4 beta confirmed this, revealing her kit and gameplay style. A 5-Star Anemo Catalyst user, Mizuki functions similarly to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities. While Sucrose may excel in specific situations, Mizuki's versatility makes her a valuable asset in many team compositions, particularly Taser teams.
Mizuki's official reveal, slightly delayed from initial expectations, showcased her dual identity as a tapir yokai and a psychologist/majority owner of the Aisa Bathhouse. Her close friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction will coincide with the Version 5.4 Flagship Event. A dedicated Story Quest is also planned for her release.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. It's crucial to note that Mizuki will join the Standard Banner post-Version 5.4, prompting collectors to prioritize acquiring her Signature Weapon instead.
Version 5.4 presents a more concise update compared to the content-rich Version 5.3. It will include only one new character, a single Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem acquisition will be below average. Players should consider saving their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if aiming for highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley, unless Version 5.3's Chronicled Banner offers a compelling alternative.
