Iconic Bethesda Voice Actor of Skyrim, Fallout 3, and More Found 'Barely Alive' as Family Seek Support

Beloved Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his roles in Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and numerous other titles, is critically ill. His family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover his mounting medical expenses and living costs while he's unable to work.

According to a report by PC Gamer, Johnson was found unconscious and barely alive in his hotel room last week after failing to appear at a charity event. His wife, Kim, raised the alarm when he didn't show up, leading to his discovery by hotel security. Emergency responders struggled to find a pulse.

The GoFundMe campaign, initially aiming for $50,000, has already surpassed its goal significantly, raising over $144,791 from nearly 2,200 donors.

Beyond his extensive video game voice acting career with Bethesda, Johnson is also a long-time public address announcer for the Washington Capitals hockey team and has appeared in numerous film and television projects. His memorable video game roles include Ron Hope in Starfield, Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in Oblivion, multiple Daedric Princes in Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4. The gaming community is rallying around Johnson and his family during this difficult time.
