Indus Surpasses 11 Million Pre-registrations

Indus, India's homegrown battle royale game, introduces a thrilling new 4v4 deathmatch mode. This addition follows another significant milestone: surpassing 11 million pre-registrations. However, a full release date remains unconfirmed, with the game currently in closed beta.

Supergaming's Indus, designed specifically for the Indian market, features the standard battle royale elements, enhanced by innovative additions such as a Grudge system rewarding persistent player rivalries.

Initially announced in 2022, Indus has undergone several beta phases, continuously adding features and attracting a growing player base. This steady increase in pre-registrations reflects the burgeoning mobile gaming market in India.

While the 11 million pre-registrations are impressive, the growth rate has slowed compared to previous milestones (10 million in March). Despite this, the additional million pre-registrations is still a considerable achievement.

The anticipation for Indus' public release is high. While the addition of new features is appreciated, the speculated late-2023 release didn't materialize. Hopefully, 2024 will bring a full release or at least a public beta.
