Lara Croft, the iconic Tomb Raider, is raiding Naraka: Bladepoint! NetEase's martial arts battle royale game recently unveiled its plans for a massive third-anniversary celebration this August, and it includes a thrilling collaboration with the legendary Tomb Raider franchise.
The anniversary livestream showcased exciting additions, including a brand-new map, Perdoria, and the highly anticipated Tomb Raider crossover. Lara Croft's enduring popularity, spanning from her 1996 debut to appearances in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Fortnite, Final Fantasy XV, and even an upcoming Netflix animated series, makes this collaboration a major event.
Lara's signature look will grace Naraka: Bladepoint as a skin for the agile assassin Matari (Silver Crow), one of the game's most popular characters. While a preview remains elusive, past crossovers suggest the skin will include a complete outfit, unique hairstyle, and various accessories.
2024: A Landmark Year for Naraka: Bladepoint
The third anniversary promises a spectacular update. Beyond the Tomb Raider event, players will explore Perdoria, the first new map in nearly two years, launching July 2nd. This map promises unique challenges, secrets, and gameplay mechanics unlike anything seen before. Further expanding the celebrations, a crossover with CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is planned for later this year.
However, the celebrations are bittersweet. Naraka: Bladepoint will be ending support for the Xbox One by the end of August. However, players can rest assured; all progress and purchased cosmetics remain linked to their Xbox accounts, ensuring a seamless transition to Xbox Series X/S or the PC Xbox app.
