Leaked Gameplay Footage Emerges for Transformers Revival

Recently canceled Transformers: Reactivate, a cooperative game announced in 2022 by Splash Damage and Hasbro, has seen leaked gameplay footage resurface online. The footage, from a 2020 build, showcases Bumblebee navigating a destroyed city, seamlessly transforming between robot and vehicle modes, and engaging in combat against an alien force known as "the Legion." The gameplay bears resemblance to Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Despite some unfinished textures and a silent cutscene depicting Bumblebee's arrival in a post-apocalyptic New York City, the footage reveals a polished game with environmental destruction. While the project's cancellation prevents players from experiencing the full game, the leaks offer a glimpse into its potential. The game would have featured Generation 1 Autobots and Decepticons uniting against the Legion's Earth invasion. Despite the cancellation, the leaked footage highlights the progress made before the project's termination.
