What Is Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree’s Release Date?

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on April 17, 2025. Originally slated for December 2023, the release was delayed, but fans have remained understanding thanks to regular updates from developer Primal Game Studio. Some backers even enjoyed access to a closed beta. The game's world, battling against the force of "Entropy," presents a challenging and gloomy atmosphere. Will you be able to save it? You can pre-order Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree right now on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and here are the pre-order bonuses you'll receive:

Game Preview 2 is expected to be available soon, while Game Preview 1 is four times the size of Mandragora's demo.

Despite the phrasing on the Steam store page, there are no Deluxe-exclusive pre-order bonuses. Access to Mandragora Preview 1 and Preview 2 is available with both editions.

Can You Pre-Order Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree on Console?

Currently, you cannot pre-order Mandragora on console. It's listed on the respective console storefronts, but there's no option to pre-order yet. This may change before the April 17, 2025 release date. Given that the game's previews are PC-based, any console pre-order bonuses likely won't include preview access.

Is Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Getting a Physical Release?

In today's digital age, PC games rarely see physical releases. However, Mandragora does offer a physical version for both console and, surprisingly, PC. The catch? It's only available to those who ordered it through the Kickstarter campaign at $79. Since the campaign has closed, you can't order one now. There's a possibility that Primal Game Studio might offer a wider physical release in the future, but for now, that option is off the table.
