Marvel Rivals Announces Balancing Changes in Season 1

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Changes

Get ready for the chilling debut of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls in Marvel Rivals, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! This season introduces Dracula as the main antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the roster. The initial rollout will feature Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving a few weeks later.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 exciting skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion.

Balance Adjustments:

This season sees significant balance changes. Hela and Hawkeye, previously dominant forces, will receive nerfs to address their overwhelming power in higher-level matches. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom will receive buffs to enhance their effectiveness in aggressive gameplay.

Further adjustments include buffs for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging more strategic use of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger also receive enhancements to improve their team synergy. NetEase Games also acknowledges player feedback regarding Jeff the Land Shark's ultimate ability, promising adjustments to its hitbox consistency, though no major power changes are planned at this time.

The developers remain silent on adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature, a point of contention among players. Many anticipate changes to which heroes receive bonuses.

Season 1 promises a wealth of new content, including three new maps and a thrilling new game mode: Doom Match. The anticipation is high for this significant update to Marvel Rivals.
