Marvel Snap's Sanctum Showdown: A New Limited-Time Mode

Get ready for a thrilling new way to play Marvel Snap! Sanctum Showdown, a limited-time mode, introduces a unique gameplay experience lasting until March 11th.

New Rules, New Victories:

Forget the usual six-turn matches. In Sanctum Showdown, the first player to reach 16 points wins! The Sanctum location is key, awarding the most points each turn. The strategic element is amplified with a new snapping mechanic: starting on turn three, you can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's point value by one, creating constant shifts in momentum.

Rewards and Progression:

Each match, win or lose, contributes to your Sorcerer Rank and earns you Charms. These Charms can be spent in the Sanctum Shop on cosmetic items or new cards. Entering a match costs one Scroll, but victories reward you with another, keeping the gameplay flowing. You begin with 12 Scrolls, replenishing by two every eight hours. Should you run out, you can purchase more for 40 Gold.

Strategic Considerations:

To maintain fairness, certain cards and locations are banned in Sanctum Showdown. Abilities affecting final scores are disabled, and cards like Debrii are removed to prevent unbalanced strategies. So, while you might be tempted to rely on Captain Marvel or Dracula, you'll need a new approach!
