Insomniac Games Remains Silent on Marvel's Wolverine Release Date
Insomniac Games recently shared its future plans, but remained tight-lipped about the highly anticipated Marvel's Wolverine. While co-head Chad Dezern confirmed a busy roadmap for the studio, details on Wolverine's release remain under wraps. Despite fan excitement, Dezern emphasized the need to maintain secrecy, neither confirming nor denying a 2025 launch.

Wolverine's Development: A Look Back
Initially unveiled at the 2021 PlayStation Showcase with a cinematic trailer, Marvel's Wolverine is slated for PlayStation 5. In 2023, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Creative Director Bryan Intihar confirmed Wolverine's existence within the same universe as Spider-Man, hinting at potential connections. While fans anticipated crossovers, only a Wolverine-themed suit in Spider-Man 2 has materialized so far. A ransomware attack in December 2023 briefly exposed some Wolverine development assets to the public.

Insomniac's Current Projects and Future Plans
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is launching on PC January 30, 2025, as announced at New York Comic-Con 2025. Insomniac has confirmed no further DLC for Spider-Man 2, but the PC version will include all post-launch updates. Two editions will be available: Standard and Digital Deluxe.

For now, Marvel's Wolverine remains Insomniac's only publicly confirmed project in development. Stay tuned for further updates.
