Mega Kangaskhan Returns in Pokémon Go Raid Day Event in May

For fans of Pokémon Go, Raid Days are always a promise of excitement and new opportunities. The latest event is no exception, as it marks the return of Mega Kangaskhan! Scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd from 3pm to 5pm local time, this event offers a plethora of benefits for participating players.

The reappearance of Kangaskhan is particularly thrilling for players because this Pokémon is typically region-locked. If you've been looking to complete your Kanto Pokédex, this is your chance! To assist players, the Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 20, effective from 5pm PDT on Saturday, May 2nd until 8pm on May 3rd.

Participants will also receive five additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Discs, and there will be an increased chance of encountering a Shiny Kangaskhan during Mega Raids. Whether you're aiming to complete your Pokédex or strengthen your Pokémon team, this Raid Day is an excellent opportunity to dive in.

For those looking to maximize their rewards, an Event Pass is available for $4.99 or its regional equivalent. Purchasing the pass grants you eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, allowing for a daily total of 14. You'll also have a chance to earn Rare Candy XL, 50% more XP, and 2x Stardust from Raid Battles.

Additionally, a free Timed Research will be available. Completing this research rewards you with 10,000 Stardust, and participating in a Raid Battle grants an additional 1,000 Stardust along with other goodies. Be sure to claim these rewards before 5pm local time on May 3rd!
