Capcom's highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds, set to revolutionize the acclaimed franchise, unveils a post-launch content roadmap. Here's a breakdown of the first major update.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1: Mizutsune and More

Title Update 1, arriving alongside the game's February 27th release, introduces the fan-favorite Mizutsune. This aquatic dragon-type monster utilizes bubble-based attacks, posing a significant challenge for hunters. Its distinctive pink scales and purple fur also promise visually appealing gear. The update will also feature new Event Quests, offering additional challenges and valuable rewards. Further unspecified updates are planned for the Spring, possibly including optimizations and bug fixes.

Summer 2025 Title Update 2 and Beyond

A second Title Update is slated for Summer 2025, including another new monster (identity yet undisclosed) and additional Event Quests. While future content beyond these two updates remains unconfirmed, Capcom's commitment suggests further surprises are likely.
