Embark on a captivating journey in the vibrant world of Monster Hunter Wilds, where intriguing interactions await, rewarding players in diverse ways. This guide focuses on unlocking the coveted Monster (Squid) Hunter trophy or achievement. While fishing might seem secondary to the main storyline, it opens a unique questline and provides the necessary tools for this challenge.
Your adventure begins with Kanya's fishing quests. Complete these side quests by gathering specific items:

Seeking the Goldenfish: Locate the Goldenfish in cave pools. Area 6 of the Scarlet Forest is a good starting point. Use Golden Bughead or Common Wood Minnow bait. Fallow weather conditions increase spawning chances.
Fishing for Favor: Catch the Gravid Bowfin in the Scarlet Forest base camp during "Plenty" weather. Use the Emerald Jitterbait.
The Catch of a Lifetime!: Catch any large fish requiring the reeling minigame. The Tuna in Area 17 of the Scarlet Forest is a reliable option.

After completing these quests, Kanya will assign the Razzle Dazzle quest, leading to the Monster (Squid) Hunter trophy/achievement. Here's how:
Go to Area 17 of the Scarlet Forest. Ensure "Downpour" weather in "Inclemency" conditions (use the grill or camp to adjust).
Enter the deep end of the lake until you can't proceed further. Squids should appear; if not, fast travel and return.
Equip the Tentacle Jig and fish. Target the Goliath Squid (indicated by glowing blue shells).
Engage in the reeling minigame. Once the squid is near the shore, reel it in to claim your trophy/achievement!
Congratulations on unlocking the Monster (Squid) Hunter trophy/achievement! For further Monster Hunter Wilds assistance, explore The Escapist.
