Morpeko Arrives in Pokémon GO for Halloween

Pokémon GO's Halloween event, Part 1, is almost here! Niantic has unveiled the spooky details. Get ready for exciting features and chilling encounters.

The event runs from Tuesday, October 22nd, 10:00 a.m. local time, until Monday, October 28th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Event Highlights:

Morpeko makes its Pokémon GO debut! This Electric/Dark-type Pokémon boasts unique battle mechanics. Its Full Belly and Hangry Modes alter its Aura Wheel attack (Electric in Full Belly Mode, Dark in Hangry Mode), both packing a 100-power punch and boosting Attack.

During the event, Morpeko will appear more frequently in the GO Battle League's premium track, remaining available from Rank 16 onwards, though more common in premium battles.

Enjoy a special Halloween atmosphere with holiday-themed decorations and a nighttime remix of the classic Lavender Town theme.

Dynamax Gastly joins the one-star Max Battles, alongside Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.

A free Timed Research event, running from October 22nd to November 3rd, focuses on Spiritomb and its 108 spirits. Complete tasks to encounter Halloween-themed Pokémon, including Spiritomb and Morpeko.
