Get ready for some demon-slaying action! Netflix is bringing the electrifying world of Devil May Cry to anime, and a brand-new trailer offers a thrilling glimpse into what's in store. Even more exciting? The legendary Kevin Conroy lends his voice posthumously to this adaptation.
Conroy, eternally celebrated as the iconic voice of Batman, takes on the role of VP Baines, a new character whose voiceover introduces this sneak peek. His performance, following his acclaimed posthumous role in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3, is a poignant testament to his enduring talent. Joining Conroy in the stellar cast are Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, Chris Coppola as Enzo, and Johnny Yong Bosch as the iconic Dante.
Netflix's official synopsis teases: “Sinister forces are at play, threatening to open a portal between the human and demon realms. At the heart of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds rests on his shoulders.”

Adi Shankar, known for his work on films like Dredd and Killing Them Softly, serves as showrunner. He's also slated to executive produce a Assassin's Creed adaptation, though its future remains uncertain. The animation will be handled by Studio Mir, the acclaimed South Korean studio behind The Legend of Korra and X-Men ‘97.
Prepare for the arrival of Devil May Cry on Netflix, premiering April 3, 2025.
