Get ready for a week-long Pokémon GO celebration kicking off Friday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. and running until Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024, at 8:00 p.m.! This anniversary event is packed with exciting new Pokémon debuts, boosted event bonuses, and incredible raid and trade opportunities.

New Pokémon and Shiny Encounters:

Party-hat-wearing Grimer and Muk are joining the fun, and there's even a chance to catch a Shiny Grimer! Meltan is also making a shiny comeback, so don't forget to use your Mystery Box during the event.

Friendship and Trading Bonuses:

Become Lucky Friends more easily and snag Lucky Pokémon in trades! Friendship levels will increase rapidly while opening Gifts, trading Pokémon, or battling together. Plus, you could find 8 or even 88 Gimmighoul Coins when spinning PokéStops with a Golden Lure Module.

Daily Bonus Events:

• June 28th-29th: Half Egg Hatch Distance
• June 30th-July 1st: Double XP for catching Pokémon
• July 2nd-3rd: Double Stardust for catches

Raids and Research:

Festive Pokémon will appear more frequently in one-star raids, with increased Shiny odds! Complete event-themed Field Research tasks for encounters with partner Pokémon like Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, and others. You'll also earn Mega Energy rewards for Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert.

Paid Events and In-App Purchases:
