Pokémon TCG Pocket Is Dropping a Trade Feature and Space-Time Smackdown Expansion Soon

Pokémon TCG Pocket is getting a major update! Trading is finally here, alongside the highly anticipated Space-Time Smackdown expansion. Get ready to swap cards with friends!

Pokémon TCG Pocket: Space-Time Smackdown and Trading Release Dates

Trading launches January 29th, 2025, followed by the Space-Time Smackdown expansion on January 30th. This update also introduces new binder and display board covers featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.

Trading Details:

The long-awaited trading feature requires trade hourglasses and trade tokens. Initially, only cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions (rarity levels 1-4 and ★1) will be tradable. More cards will be added in future updates.

Space-Time Smackdown Expansion:

This expansion focuses on the Sinnoh region, introducing two new booster packs featuring Dialga and Palkia, along with fresh card artwork. Lucario, and the Sinnoh starter Pokémon (Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup) will also be available.
