Pokémon Unite boasts six ranks, each subdivided into multiple classes for incremental progression. Higher ranks naturally have more classes than lower ones. Important note: Rank progression happens *only* in ranked matches, not quick or standard matches.

Pokémon Unite Ranks:

  • Beginner Rank (3 Classes)
  • Great Rank (4 Classes)
  • Expert Rank (5 Classes)
  • Veteran Rank (5 Classes)
  • Ultra Rank (5 Classes)
  • Master Rank

Getting Started

Your ranked journey begins at Beginner Rank, requiring Trainer Level 6, a Fair Play score of 80, and five Pokémon licenses. Once you meet these requirements, you're ready to jump into ranked matches.

Performance Points and Diamond Points

Performance Points (5-15 per match, based on performance) are key to advancement. Additional points are awarded for sportsmanship (10 points), participation (10 points), and winning streaks (10-50 points). Each rank has a Performance Point cap. Reaching this cap awards one Diamond Point per match, which is crucial for rank advancement. Here's the breakdown:

  • Beginner Rank: 80 Points
  • Great Rank: 120 Points
  • Expert Rank: 200 Points
  • Veteran Rank: 300 Points
  • Ultra Rank: 400 Points
  • Master Rank: N/A

Advancing and Rewards

Four Diamond Points equate to a class upgrade. Reaching the maximum class in a rank propels you to the next rank's first class. You gain one Diamond Point per ranked match win and lose one per loss. Players with maxed Performance Points also earn one Diamond Point per match.

End-of-season rewards include Aeos Tickets (more for higher ranks), used in the Aeos Emporium. Specific ranks also offer rotating seasonal rewards.

Pokémon Unite is available now on mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. Good luck climbing the ranks!
